Two way switch in one light control wiring:
This diagram shows how to make Two way switch in one light control wiring. In this circuit, we use an SP MCB ( Single Pole Miniature Circuit Breaker ), an ELCB ( Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker ), four 2 way switches, and a light. This circuit is very simple and very easy to make. If you want to know more about this circuit please stay with our website and check our youtube video below the post.

Components used to make the 2-way switch in 1 light control wiring:
01. SP MCB
Fig 2: SP MCB |
MCB SP means single pole it protects only one phase switching. MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) Curswitch is the most basic general-purpose switch that you use to control a light or another device from one location. These Switches Have Two Brass-Colored Screw Terminals Connected to the hot Power Source Wires. (MCB) For any Distribution Board, the Protection System Must be Used in The Incomer. Phase and Neutral Single Phase Supply to break. 120-volt circuits, 15-20 amp single pole breaker is typically used.
02. ELCB
Fig 3: ELCB |
An earth-leakage circuit breaker (ELCB) is a safety device used in electrical installations with high Earth impedance to prevent shock.Generally, the current sensing devices termed Residual current Circuit Breaker (RCCB), and voltage detecting devices named Earth Leakage Circuit breaker Earth-Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB). For several years, both the voltage and current operated ELCBs were both referred to as ELCB (Earth-Leakage Circuit Breaker) due to their simple name to remember. But the applications of these 2 devices gave growth to the significant mix-up in the electrical industry.
03. Light
Fig 4: Light |
CFLs work in a completely different way from ordinary lamps, they work by using a different process called fluorescence rather than generating light from heat. A typical light bulb wastes 90% of energy and converts only 10% of energy into light, this is where CFL has the biggest advantage. CFL- Curved or conical glass tube filled with argon and a small amount of mercury vapor. The inner wall of the glass is coated with fluorescent material. CFL- It is manufactured using the principle of creating fluorescent light. CFL- Originally white in color but now the construction and use of CFLs producing colored light has become popular.
04. 2-way switch
Fig 5: 2-way switch |
The two-way switch is a type of multiway switch. Multiway switches have more points and can be controlled in multiple ways simultaneously. The middle connection normally goes to the load and the two side connections act as switches. Again, the opposite is also true if it is used in the lamp connection. It is a type of switch that has three wire connections. And it really has no off or on. Both sides can be turned on or off depending on how you connect one to the other. The two-way switch is a type of multiway switch. Multiway switches have more points and can be controlled in multiple ways simultaneously. Two Way Switch has three wire connection system.

Frequently Asked Questions
You would use a 2-way light switch when you have 2 switches controlling 1 light Circuit Diagram, for instance in a hallway, where you have a switch at the power supply at both ends of the Currenttlou hallway that controls the hallway light. You are able to switch the light on and off from either end of the hallway.
1) Connect 12V from the battery to the middle and connect the nearest switch. 2) Run 2 wires to the Circuit diagram second switch, 1 wire from the Circuit diagram top to top of the 2 switches. The second wire is from the bottom to the bottom of the two switches. 3) A wire from the middle connector of the second switch goes to the +ve terminal of the lamp.
If you are talking about two switches in one box, then as long as both switches are on the same circuit (meaning they have a single wire coming into the box which supplies power supply to both switches) then it's only a matter of connecting the 2 switched legs on 1 switch.
The common single-pole switch controls 1 light fixture from 1 location, a 3-way switch controls a Power supply fixture from 2 locations, and a 4-way switch controls a fixture from a Circuit diagram least three different locations, such as in a large room or an open floor plan.
Convenience: 2-way switches provide convenience by allowing you to control the Project system same light or lights from different Power supply locations. This is particularly useful in large rooms, as hallways, or staircases where accessing the switch from only one location may be inconvenient.
